1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and trackers are used on the Hello Chantier platform, published by Fourmi Un SAS, and how you can control your choices. It complements our Privacy Policy. We deliberately limit the use of trackers: only cookies strictly necessary for the site to function are set without your agreement; audience measurement is optional and is enabled only with your consent.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you browse a website, used in particular to authenticate you, remember your preferences or measure audience. Hello Chantier also uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to keep your session and your choices. In this policy, the term "cookies" refers to all of these trackers.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These trackers are essential for the site to function and are always active: they do not require your consent and cannot be disabled. They include the authentication session cookie, which keeps you signed in to your account and secures your exchanges; the language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), which remembers the site's display language; and the record of your consent choices (hc-cookie-consent), kept in your browser's local storage so that you are not prompted on every visit. None of these trackers is used for advertising purposes.

4. Audience measurement

With your agreement, we measure the site's audience using PostHog, a tool hosted in the European Union (eu.posthog.com). This measurement helps us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. It is optional and off by default: no audience-measurement data is collected until you have accepted. If you refuse or withdraw your consent, collection and storage stop immediately.

5. No advertising cookies

Hello Chantier sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party advertising or behavioural-targeting trackers. Your data is neither sold nor used for behavioural advertising.

6. Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of every page, which opens the preferences dialog. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage until you change it or clear your browsing data. If our trackers change materially, we update the consent version and prompt you again. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies; however, blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair the site's operation.

We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable regulations. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page. If our trackers change materially, the consent dialog will be presented to you again.
